Expanding To Meet The Needs Of

The Communities

In Which We Minister

The Church of God BTCI is fully committed to fulfilling the Great Commission as clearly stated in God's word, Mathew 28: 19-20. We are "expanding our territory" throughout the length and breadth of the Bahamas and The Turks & Caicos Islands. We are building churches in the midst of the people bringing the Gospel to them, meeting their needs spiritually. Take some time to read and learn more about what we are doing, and where we are headed.

Southwest Cathedral

This congregation moved into phase one of the building in 1987. With the increase in membership over the years, a new edifice needed to be erected, thus construction began on phase 2 of their building project. This grand edifice will have the seating capacity of 1500, and will include infrastructure for live TV & Radio broadcasts. With God’s help this lighthouse is expected to be dedicated on, January 17, 2010. Contact Pastor at cogs.w.c@batelnet.bs

Lighthouse Church of God

Historical Background

Lighthouse Fellowship Center began on the 11th of August 1991.  At that time the church worshiped at Kiddies Wonderland School in Kennedy Subdivision.  In September of the same year, the church moved to Moncur Alley just off Kemp Road with the assistance of Bishop W.M. Johnson, the National overseer at the time.

In December of 1991 the church was officially inducted into The Church of God. The name was also changed from Lighthouse Fellowship Center to Lighthouse Fellowship Church of God and formed a part of the Northern District.

In September of 1997 the church moved to its present location, Mahogony Street, Malcolm Allotment. We presently worship in our new built sanctuary
